Tragicomedy – #2270

Every light casts a shadow, every cloud has a silver lining.  Take MLK, for example.  The good: he helped usher in a brief era of relative racial harmony.  The bad: his memorial sculpture looks like a horrendous teleporter accident.  Comedians are the same way.  They’re very funny, but they have a tendency to imbibe themselves to death.  That’s probably an unnecessarily strict adherence to “take the good with the bad”, but it works for them for a little while anyway.
