You’re not supposed to put all your eggs in one basket, unless it’s Easter.  Then you win.  You win the eggs you picked up.  It’s supposed to teach children the harsh reality of being a rabbit.  Or maybe it’s just something for kids to do.  The symbolism behind the holiday isn’t entirely clear.
