Flying can be scary.  You’re going 500 miles per hour in a massive steel machine suspended 30,000 feet in the air.  It doesn’t help that sometimes the plane seems to just drop out of the sky momentarily.  Statistically, it’s still the safest way to travel.  Sadly, our brains do not run on statistics.  They run on emotion.  That’s why we’re still talking about Gabby Petito.  It’s a highly emotional case.  It’s also why our show is so popular.  You’ve heard us talk about how much we hate politicians.  That’s no accident.  That’s the secret behind must-listen podcasting.  That and switching topics every five minutes.
