Victimhood mentality is rampant, especially in big cities.  It’s easy to brush that off as hypersensitivity, but consider this: if you live in the city, you are a victim – of the city.  Carjackings.  Being yelled at for shoveling snow.  Camera crews taking over your block with no warning.  It takes its toll.  Basically we’re saying that everyone who lives in the city is crazy.
