If you’ve listened to this show for at least five consecutive minutes – any five minutes will do – you’re familiar with our opinion on modern journalism.  Here’s a quick refresher: it’s not good.  It seems we’re not alone in our view, and that includes journalists.  People are leaving the hallowed halls of long-extant institutions and starting their own.  A fresh start means no corruption, no red tape, and no bureaucracy.  Liz’s fresh start is Alpha News, a Minnesota-focused media outlet that promises to be much less crappy than what we’re used to.
