Tom Cruise is a bit of a polarizing figure.  You could call him eccentric, if you wanted to be polite.  You could also call him dedicated.  Most actors won’t even stand up without a stunt double doing it for them, but Cruise is attaching himself to cargo planes and plummeting from the stratosphere.  Hey, if someone offered to pay me $50,000,000 to base jump from space, I’d probably take it too.
