The Greeks have been philosophizing over the nature of morality since they began writing things down.  Finally, after over 2000 years, they’ve found the ultimate answer: if someone points a gun at you, everything is moral.  It’s just that simple.  Perhaps the reason the ancient thinkers never thought of it was because they didn’t know what guns were.  We may never know.  Does being at gladius-point offer the same moral freedom?  Find out in another 2000 years.
